William is 19 Months Old // His Baptism Day

Nineteen Months Old

My beautiful boy you make my heart just melt in to mush. I have to admit, your tantrums have started to become challenging sometimes however this is my favourite age so far. You are just amazing, your brain is constantly watching and taking everything in like a sponge and I feel very privileged to be able to watch you develop and learn so rapidly. Everything you see, you copy. The noises, the actions and you're coming on with the words too! I am so very very proud of you my little boy. I am so excited to see you become an older brother but I'm so anxious that it will mean we won't get to spend so much time together being us.

Milestones this Month -

  • Can point at Dinosaurs and make Raw sounds
  • Says Woof woof woof for dog sounds
  • When asked what does mummy say, William will reply 'moans, moans, moans' (taught by naughty daddy!
  • Learnt to say 'Scarlet' in a strange little 'redrum' like voice from the Shining but it makes the whole room laugh.
  • Loves to play on the Trampoline and be in the garden
  • Learnt to say Doggy
  • Put two words together for the first time saying 'more' 'scarlet' when Scarlet went home.
  • Learnt to say 'cheese' for the camera and do a big smile
  • Put two words together to shout 'hiya' 'mama'
  • Still loves his 2 hour naps however if we're out and about, he'll have around 1hr.
  • Loves to watch TV and point at it when a show he likes comes on
  • His first Passport arrived, ahead of his first holiday abroad!!
  • Loves his big cousin Scarlet very much.
  • We can now bribe him to have his nappy changed, tantrum free by saying he can have 'Dodi' and his beloved blanket.

This month's memory -

On Sunday 29th April 2018, you were finally baptised. Mummy has been trying to get this day done for as long as you were alive, but a misplaced baptism certificate for Mummy in a separate parish meant it was put off and rearranged plenty of times.
We had a small family gathering to celebrate and it was just perfect in Mummy's eyes, you was very tired and only got to nap in the pram for 30 minutes, so all our pictures, you had your dummy in and was less than impressed with the ceremony, but it was a lovely day and you are a very loved little boy. Afterwards we had cake and lunch at Grandma's house.
